The Weather Channel
In Yellowstone we already had some glimpse of the approaching Fall. So a good look at the weather channel can help to get the idea of how it would be the day. Hot. Hot and dry.
Heading South to Utah, that's it.

IDAHO

I found the keys (the second set in the day)

One of our favorite pastimes has lately been the search of every possible vital item: from wallets to cameras, to keys.
Today it was "KEYS DAY", and every possible key was lost and finally found. Here's the last one.

The Potato State and here we finally ate corn!... crossed Idaho in a breeze, hoped to taste the famous potatoes, but unfortunately just seen the fields.

I start to wonder if it's all a tourist gig ...

ON THE ROAD TO SALT LAKE CITY. Lake in the mountains number 12.

The town is surrounded by mountains, the Great Salt Lake is close, but it did not raise our interest too much. I mean, OK, it's neat, salty water, and so what?

Rainstorm coming...

one of the factories just out of SLC

I happened to live for a year in Salt Lake, several years ago, but I have to say that the city never raised my interest too much. Clean and neat, nice architecture, well organized, but too industrial and tasteless. And too involved in its own religion, too.

WILD NIGHTLIFE IN SALT LAKE CITY, UT

The Temple

here we see the Mormon Temple

If you hope to have a wild night in SLC, just forget about it. And if it is Sunday night, or Labor Day's Weekend last day, dream on. All it's closed, Mormons have no fun, apparently, busy people dedicated to work and family.

But a hungry voyager who needs to satisfy his insane desires of a full stomach, at 10:00 PM, may find it hard to find a place open.

At least at Wendy's we had the Idaho potato...Luckily, at a Wendy's that was almost closing down, they still had some eatable stuff.
A wild night awaits for us. Right after a hamburger, back to the motel to put together this page, and satisfy the sponsor's needs ...
