Nothing remarkable happens in Carson City. Closed in the motel to work, settled down for the first time in three weeks. Not having a temporary housing in Stanford until September 14, we elected our house this hotel room, where at least the table does not wobble, and is at the right height.

Usual visit to a Casino (Nugget) to replenish the food tank, and try our luck. No luck for today, the money you folks sent wasn't enough. Please send more.

Better pay up front the washing machines ...Not even the Laundromats are a safe place for an ordinary citizen. The slot machines follow you everywhere. So you spend $5 for the laundry, and $20 for the clink-a-klink ....

everything is going smoothly, I am really impressed in the way it is possible to carry on complex work and activities just from everywhere there is a modem connection (and a socket for the laptop recharge)

Midnight snackFeeling at home in a motel room is not always easy, but sometimes we need to do it.
Home is only 250 miles away, maybe 300 with an excursion for the Donner Memorial and relative pass.
