THE BIG TOURIST DAY

Yeah! You read me right!

10 THINGS NEVER TO DO WHEN YOU SPEND A DAY IN WASHINGTON D.C.

  1. Walk around when temperature is around 110 F.
  2. Get a daily pass for the Metro and hope to use it.
  3. Carry a 30 pounds photo bag.
  4. Walk in the sun without a sunscreen #45.
  5. Expect to find a drugstore or a pharmacy downtown.
  6. Try to park your car in the street.
  7. Wear sandals.
  8. Hope to find something "cheap".
  9. Try to visit all the museums on the same day (and memorials too).
  10. Find acceptable food in the downtown area. Any kind of it.

RESULTS, EXPERIENCES AND FINAL CONSEQUENCES ARE HERE SHOWN:

... next time ...

Take my word for it: Washington D.C. is rather big, and walking, although necessary, needs to be reduced to the strict necessary.

Next time I will just join one of these "Sightseeing buses" ... it's only fourteen bucks, after all ...
