Mr. Charlie Parker in one of his best moments on alto saxophone.

Here he is soloing on "Cheryl", with young Miles Davis in the background.

Davis was later reported to complain about Parker's habit of playing outrageously fast tempos, and decided to go funky and spare on the notes.
